The original orders - those who ordered sight unseen, without test drives, the loyal, introductory customers - all get f..ked (well, unless they got a lucky colour ).

It was always the same on a lesser scale with movies - buy the day one BluRay or DVD and you get the movie. Wait a few months and the tin case collectors edition with 5 discs of bonus content comes out and all the original purchasers who are the big fans are faced with the dilemma of a PoS DVD that nobody wants any more, or buying the same movie again with some extras because you're a big fan.

It's called "we've got your money now, we don't care".

Maybe its the convertible that's slowing things down... there seem to be a lot more Fastbacks than 'verts in AU - but maybe that's just because more were ordered

Nah...major stuff up by Ford AU. Was scheduled for a Sept 15 Build, but they lost my order and only discovered it after hounding them all of Dec and Jan. Some computer glitch. It's on the water now though!

if so I know of one where the owner just cancelled their order & it was offered to me. Mine is due in July/August. My dealer rang me yesterday

I had to knock it back as I will be out of the country soon and didn't want it sitting outside until I got back (My garage is full of renovation materials and tools.)
