The ONLY must have option.....6A.

I have a 6M in my 2012, 0 issues.
The 6A is so important I passed up PP for it...it's that big of a deal.

My build list so far.
Black, 6a, 401a, security package, spoiler delete, 3.55s and premier ebony seats.

Please educate me, what is 6a?

I won't mod my car out of the gate but does anyone know if Ford racing parts can be rolled into purchase price as options and installed before you take delivery?

I know some car companies allow this but I'm not sure about Ford.

I hope so! I'd buy an axleback out the door (perhaps even a catback).

BSIS should be packaged with the reverse park assist and it should be just a sensor package (BSIS/RPS)

3 of the 4 of the 401A pack are interior premium options (seats, sound, HD radio).

This is the one thing that annoys me is that they put a safety feature in with an interior comfort package.

For me, driving in the mountain west:

Spare tire/wheel & jack.

Premium package to get heated seats.

Engine block heater - but it comes on all cars delivered in my state anyway.

I do not want NAV and do not understand why anyone feels a need for it. I can use hard copy AAA maps and study them before I get the area where I need the details. They work great; it is fun to do your own navigation the old fashioned way.

For how cheap it is how can you not get the Enhance Security Package? Best feature is the electronic locking center console. Just one of many, nav is a must too with MFT IMO...
Because I know how much I hate it when there's a car alarm that's blaring on and on and on forever, and I don't want to be "that guy." Especially since I normally have to park several blocks away from my apartment at night, so I wouldn't hear it if it did go off.

As somebody who had to try to navigate through unfamiliar city streets in the days before computerized maps, I can tell you that it's ten billion times easier with GPS navigation -- try pulling out your paper maps in the middle of Boston or Los Angeles to look for where you are and what turn you missed while you're tucked in next to a hydrant because that's the only place you can find to stop that's not full of parked cars. Paper maps are fine for highways; not so much for dense urban streets.

Also, real-time traffic information is super-useful to help you avoid those 90 minute backups for construction delays.

I did the old paper way as well back in the day. Welcome to the modern age though.

What if it's going off for a reason? Even if you don't hear it....better than nothing if someone is trying to break in..right?

Hahaha LOVE the "What year is it?" I never use nav but I'm getting it just because I think it'll KILL the resale value several years from now if it doesn't have it :)

That said, the only MUST HAVE option is the PP.

Here's how I'd personally option it:
Premium trim
6spd
PP
Nav

That's it. I'd do the blind spot warners if they didn't only come in a $1700 package.

If you have 0 issues with your 6M why are you so adamant about getting a 6A?
