Are there any options that are a must have? I'm coming from a Camaro and know very little about the new mustang. I'm looking to order a GT premium with just premier trim as an option because I want a redline interior and an auto.

Premier trim is the best kept secret. Much higher quality materials.

Spare tire is probably something most people would want if they dont get the performance pack.

My "must have option" I was looking for was the 401a equipment package. I didn't want to spend money down the line on a good audio system and I'm very happy with the Shaker system. Also the addition of the blind spot detection, backup cross-traffic warning, and memory seats are nice extras in that package for me.

I care about infotainment
SYNC3 aka Premium and you're set. Probably should add nav despite it being expensive.

Do you actually enjoy the NAV? I've only had my car about 2 weeks now and I find that it's not working as well as I'd like it to.

Do they make a noticeable difference over the 3.15?

But wouldn't the upcoming android auto and apple CarPlay basically be better than the current nav?
Originally I ordered my '16 without Nav for that very reason but later added it to my order because 1) we don't know exactly when Ford will roll out Android Auto & Carplay and 2) I liked the idea of having everything integrated into a single system, especially to help with resale value down the line

The NAV in the 2016 mustangs is using SYNC3 which I've heard is much better than MFT in the 2015 mustangs.
