Muffling cold-start exhaust dB levels?

I changed my cold start max retard tables in drive and neutral, and my obnoxiously loud cold start quieted way down. helped when I was staying in my buddies condo for the weekend with the single car garage. cold starts prior to that were brutal in there lol

Haha Bill. I see lots of your post on the HPTuners forum. Great resource in that group. The Ti-VCT conversations are pretty informative. You taught me something today...I am going to change my paramaters and give it a shot tomorrow morning!

To the OP:
Are you in an open area? single garage?

I know some guys that don't have access to a tuning program just do a quick start in their garage, let it idle for 10 seconds, open the door and creep out. That initial "fire up" is muted a bit for the neighbours.


If you have an ability to change the tune, that would be my first choice though.
