Does anyone know of a source where someone has tested decibel levels for any exhausts? I emailed Borla but haven't heard anything.

I am trying to decide between a few (Roush axle-back w/ X pipe, Borla Sport cat-back, Borla Touring cat-back) and I think a lot of it is going to come down to which keeps it under 100 dB.

Under 100 dB at what RPM?

I don't have any stats but if you're talking around the 3-4k RPM range, i'm pretty comfortable saying Roush + an x-pipe is out of the question. The Borla S-type is likely out too.

Subbed as well. Standards for U.S. military in Germany is <93db at half red line (3250 rpm in an eco) with the sound meter half a meter away from the tail pipe at 45 degees from center. I had tons of problems in the past I'd like to avoid with the 'stang

My reason for asking is mostly for autocross, SCCA and most events mandate anywhere from 92dB to 100dB limits, mostly at 50ft at any point during the run.

They aren't really standardized as the video above. But, if I can play it on the safe side and just have something that is around 94dB at several yards away I should be good to go.
