Total lack of communication. We did the install and found an issue with the slave cylinder.

Apparently there are different versions of MT-82 that does or does not require a slave cylinder spacer. We went back and forth with them and their answers sometimes contradicted themselves. It was like 2 different people were answering their emails.

Long story short is that we had to drop the trans again to remove the slave cylinder spacer.

Glad I know about it but it would’ve been great to know beforehand and asked them all the right questions before install.
Yeah, you would think that those special instructions would be included with the transmission, or maybe even on a sticker attached to it that says: STOP!!! Do/Do not install slave cylinder spacer. That had to suck installing, and uninstalling the transmission. I hope I only have to do it once when I get to that point.

This seems to be a common problem. (Vendors not knowing their product) my lpx-hd Install took dropping the trans 3 times to get it right. After bad advice the first two times. I wasn't happy and it put a bad taste in my mouth over the whole thing. I will say now that's its right, I do love the characteristics of the clutch and would buy it again next time but it sucks when companies dont seem to know their own products.
