MSRP goal is a simplistic view. Isn't the goal really to own a GT350? Then the decision comes - what are you willing to do to reach that first goal? Some people have connections, some have money, some have lots of time.. people use their resources they have available to reach the goal - owning the car.
Getting a GT350/R at MSRP is not simplistic at all, it's rather complicated. Simplistic would be paying whatever they want, not what you want.

in the end everybody will justify what they pay for the car..hell i have done it a few time. However, i won't do it on this car or really any other car now. But if you want the car and you can afford to pay the mark up..pay it.

Mike, well said!

As you stated above the final goal is "owning the car" and obviously we all take different paths to attain the final goal.

At the end of the day regardless of what path we take in order to own one of these great automobiles I would ask that we should all be happy for each other regardless of our journey?

^Hack this is the simplistic breakdown for buying it at MSRP.

Paying what they ask is just giving up.

Winning would be finding a dealer with better morals willing to do the right thing.

If you want to pay me the 30k ADM I'll sell you the "R" I source at MSRP and give the extra to The Parkinson's Research Foundation...

You can bet you ass none of your dealers are offering the same.

Oldest trick in the book: pretend I said something different than I really did and argue against that rather than arguing against what I said.

I said it was a simplistic VIEW. I didn't say getting a GT350 at MSRP is simplistic. Of course I wouldn't say that because I would be misusing the word simplistic.

I know better.

What is so complicated about getting a GT350R at MSRP?

Yes, it will take a lot of time and effort in order find one as there are not many out at there at MSRP but it certainly is not complicated by any means.

After finding 2 GT350R's at MSRP I just quit looking but they are out there.

Good luck!

A lot of time, hard work and being diligent very early on was the key with the key element being very early on.

I started back in late May with hundreds of phone calls and 10's of hours put into this process but not much different than many others on here as well.

Once word got out to many Ford dealership owners and their GSM's about these GT350 cars it seems that prices have unfortunately excalated certainly beyond where I personally thought they would go?

I have nothing against anyone who is willing to pay ADM on a 2016 GT350 Mustang, but I would never pay ADM. I am patient and will wait my turn at getting a GT350 at MSRP or maybe less. As a result, I may have to get a 2017 GT350.
