Some guys who payed the extra "Rush My Tunes" reported getting files within the hour. Guess it depends what they're working on. Not like they're going to drop what they're doing, but you get to skip the line.

so I just uploaded my tune (its like they expedited sending it when i asked xD)
Love the 2 step option! Car feels a bit more peppy. Not that much though. ill have to go up against my buddies GT again to see any real changes. But I definitely love that 2-step

Just be careful and don't abuse it or you will blow out the cats.

So there is most definitely more torque in 3-5th gear. Even in high gear low rpm pulling, it definitely pulls harder. So side note, I know previous years had a weak driveshaft. Do we have to worry about malfunction after 120mph?

Well I finally decided to order the tuner and 3x tunes from MPT. I'll be impatiently waiting for it.
They ship it 2 day priority.. I live in Utah and I got it in 2 days surprisingly. Then the email takes about 2 days aswell. They are rediculously quick about it

After reading all the positive reviews on the MPT tune from this discussion I'm pretty much sold on purchasing it (eventually). However, does flashing a tune void your factory warranty? Also, I've seen that you can change the rev limiter while in park/neutral from the stock value of 4k and I'm wondering if adjusting this has a negative impact on the engine.

Yeah, flashing the PCM can void the engines warranty. You can return the stock tune to your car at anytime, but there's a flash counter that Ford can see. If something ever failed with the engine, Ford would have to prove the tune caused the failure. Chances are you won't have an issue with your engine during the warranty period, but you never know.

Speaking of tuners. There's an unmarried SCT x4 for sale local to me...for $200....ugh, I'm so tempted, but don't want to risk the 8 year warranty Ford gave me!! 8 years of the painful stock tune!!!!!!

That SCT is pretty cheap.

Will they only check the flash counter if there is an engine related problem? If I go to the dealer for something like an oil change they won't be checking if I put a tune will they?

Yeah, it is cheap and has 3 unlocks left. Maybe someone can answer this. I kind of understand how unlocks work (an unlock is used when switching to another vehicle after being unmarried). Say I put a canned tune on, then buy the MPT tune. Is an unlock used when I go back to stock, then out the custom tune on? Or is an unlock only used anytime a new VIN is involved?
