So I did a canyon run with a stillen supercharged 370z. Holy shit the tune made a difference . I am even with him on every apex exit, but then obviously lose distance on the strsights. Had gotten bad brake fade towards the middle so I had to back off more and more. Other than that the response is rediculously better than before. Now I need better suspension and BRAKES... DAMN FADE...

MPT dyno results are in (canada) my car made with mpt 270/260 with my mods....... this doesn't make sense since the video of the v6 on the dtno showed it made 294/284 with less mods on its car

Thank you for real world results. Have you been datalogging or are you still running the base tune? Pretty sure the car at their shop is datalogged with back to back runs and made to give the best numbers possible. Every car is different and as always YMMV. There's so many variables in tuning and no two cars are alike. Looking forward to see your local tuner's numbers as well.

It seems to be within 10% but I would have figured it would be much closer even with variance. I would have expected 280/270 not 270/260.

I got a chance to install and drive with the 93 PRX and I love it. The delay on D is pretty much diminished. Getting off from a stop no longer feels like the car is waiting for an eternity before it delivers power. It pretty much addressed my complaint with D not having enough response at the low end.

Now Sport mode is buttery smooth over stock, I dare say it is approaching the smoothness of 5.0. I really like the fact that MPT put the shift points around 2000-2500rpm. Speed limit in my city is 25mph +/- 5. Normally I drive around 30mph and the stock Sport is so jerky at that speed and not to mention it is annoying to cruise at 3000-3200rpm. 30mph is that speed just before the car wants to shift up. Basically it is not fun to daily drive Sport lest you paddle shift but that gets really annoying in stop and go traffic. But like with D, MPT did a great job and I can say that I'll more and more daily drive in Sport

I haven't pushed yet since I am still in the 30mi adaption period (10mi to go) but it has been great in normal driving. Funny story MPT sent me the tune monday evening but it went to my spam folder and I didn't think to check there until last night. Spam filters are OP.

Does MPT tune let you adjust the shifting firmness % of your auto tranny?

anyone else find that their downshifting is a little hard? sometimes when coming to a stop it'll down shift hard enough I hear a metal clank. Any way to make downshifting softer? i don't want the transmission to fall out.

Just hit reply on that email where you received your tune and ask for whatever changes you want.
