i had my flywheel replaced, and I had mods and tune.

not only does the MPT tune make your throttle response waaaay faster, shift faster( with AT), but your also gaining 30+ hp.. I also picked up 2 mpg

best place to buy the X4 new is from MPT. 1 stop shop. otherwise just look for a good deal on a used one, because most of the dealers sell the x4 for the same price.

Damn I was really looking forward to the MPT tune, don't see the issue with selling to California as far as legality goes MPT is not responsible for anyone using the tune on a road use car, all they have to say is "for off road use only" just like every other tuner who sells to Cali does.
You can't do anything in California. It's the most oppressive state in the union

So you have no info to add as to why MPT chooses to not sell in Calif, while the the other tuners do. Gotcha. ;)

If I get serious about looking into this, I'll call MPT. :)

Anyone here with the 93 mpt tune drive manual? Is there a way to get rid of the "2 step" that locks when revving in neutral ( 4500k rpm) also does the same in 1st gear 4500k rpm

Thats your nuetral rev limit. You can adjust that before you load the tune. Shouldnt be doing it in first gear..unless you mean its doing it jn first, but clutch in, and stopped. Its like a ajustable launch control kinda.

You mean our stock car's (tunes), we can raise the neutral free rev limiter?
What mode is that adjustment listed under in the center console options?
Any down side to raising to say 5500 or 6000 rpm just so you can rev in neutral to 'say hi' to folks near buy. ;) Having the nice aftermarket exhaust note choked off, kinda ruin the effect. LOL

Oh...i thought you had a tuner. Not adjustable stock. You must have a automatic..cause a stock mt wont limit the rpm in neitral

I wonder if I'll gain more power from this tune since I did an x-pipe straight through exhaust.
Sucks because I used to put an intake on every car but I don't find it necessary on the mustang. Other than the JLT (which has a massive intake tube), I don't find heat soak and overy sandy filters efficient (not humid and I'm in the desert by me so there is a ton of sand and dust that lingers)
But yeah I hope that gives me a little more from this tune than just stock.

So my buddy with a manual told me that he has a 93PRX tune and he go launch control with it. True/false?

So you yourself can adjust the launch control? Or do they set it up with a tune to where it pops and bounces at a certain rpm.

Its only with a MT. It comes set at 7000....but before you load the tune, its one of the options you can change. From way low to way highm anywhere you want. In my last yt vid i popped if off the limiter
