Simple green but do use the K&N oil, rise the filter . Nozzle blasting hurts the filter media. What do you wash and oil yours with?
You're speculation is incorrect. It most definitely does use the o2 sensor at WOT. It had to be able to correct mixture to meet whatever the tune is calling for at a given load. Cobb tunes, at least on the Focus ST (my experience with accessport is that platform) are mild on timing, with a pig rich AFR. My car never ran good with a Cobb OTS Tune. OP needs to get a pro tune, it'll be night and day over what he currently has.You know it’s honestly possible that Cobb tells it 10afr to prevent detonation. Next time I go play I will romp and see what I get on my afr’s
Once you floor it, it’s ignoring o2 sensors I think. It goes into open loop and just goes off predetermined data tables made by cobb for wot
it just dumps the fuel Cobb tune says, and if that happens to be 10afr, because you flow a little better then that is what it is. Pure speculation on my part
On my motorcycles sportbikes, when you wot it, it completely disables the o2 sensors completely (edit, they aren’t physically turned off, and still reads data, but they don’t use the data read as any influence) .You're speculation is incorrect. Yeah I'm having trouble getting the original boost I was getting before the DP . I did a 2nd gear pull all the way to redline and I only got 20.5lbs. down from 23-24 originally. You're speculation is incorrect. It most definitely does use the o2 sensor at WOT. What's weird is on stage 3 I can't seem to get over 20lbs of boost. On stage 2 boost seemed somewhat normal. It did over boost though once to 25.66lbs and that was the highest est. Hp and tq I've ever seen the car pull lolOn my motorcycles sportbikes, when you wot it, it completely disables the o2 sensors completely (edit, they aren’t physically turned off, and still reads data, but they don’t use the data read as any influence) .
They only come back in closed loop, wot circumvents the o2 entirely.
It says dump fuel, at this pedal position, etc other variables I’m sure. But Atleast on sportbikes, o2 is NOT a factor.
cars can be diff but I’m using my crossover knowledge
I feel the mustang is same way

Old s197 but evidently in open loop the o2 also is ignored. Open loop happens during warming up and wot.

Wonder if maybe got a small boost leak at one of the clamps. What's weird is on stage 3 I can't seem to get over 20lbs of boost. On stage 2 boost seemed somewhat normal. It did over boost though once to 25.66lbs and that was the highest est. Hp and tq I've ever seen the car pull lol
Yeah I use to get 24.5 roughy. Of course there is variables. But since I put on the DP and changed to S3 I haven't hit 24 once.Wonder if maybe got a small boost leak at one of the clamps.
On cobbs site under maps, it shows you the psi targets etc under maps
but! I put 2017 ecoboost and I can only find 1/2 stage
stage 3 is completely removed. Trying to find thepsi targets you should be hitting I think it’s 24.5 tapering to 23

That may be the case on a sportbike and cars made 8+ years ago/not forced induction. I do know that the ecoboost uses a wideband o2 and monitors AFR at all times to make small corrections as needed, it has to because of being Direct Injected whereas S197 wasnt. On my motorcycles sportbikes, when you wot it, it completely disables the o2 sensors completely (edit, they aren’t physically turned off, and still reads data, but they don’t use the data read as any influence) .

I've seen this before as well. The AP will show the highest and the lowest numbers on the gauge. So if it peaks at 24.5 it would say that. But it doesn't it shows 20.5 so the peak is 20.5. which is 4lbs off.Map notes for all years, I posted the 15-17 notes above

I can’t find stage 3 anything... epa made them remove all the downpipe altered tunes if I had to guess,
stage 2 for 18+
24.5 psi tapering down

I just think this tune isn't great for the EB. Especially since they took it down.
I'm not surprised. I figured I would have to get it pro tuned. I was already looking for tuners near me on lunch. Lolno. they've had stage 3 for years. its due to emissions, the day after the epa stuff happened with LUND etc, they ripped off stage 3, and updated Cobb with "new epa" compliant maps.
stage 3 is gone for good. due to altering emissions. everyone was frantically panicking, clearancing all the hatless downpipes, pulling tunes, they changed all the tunes to "epa" compliant, on mustang ecoboost.net they was all talking about it. people feel like the new version of the tunes are possibly weaker than the old ones due to emissions.
Cobb 3 maps disappeared when this patch happened.![]()
here was the stage 1/2/3 comparisons., there was a stage 1/2/3 for all years, now all of them are gone. they are offering only 1/2 now. guess stage 3 is going to have to be a pro tune here on out. the big boys aren't risking epa knocking on their door after lund/dieselbrothers, etc all got sued.
