Has anyone had this happen? The Daytime Lamps setting under Lighting is grayed out and it is unchecked despite my DRLs working fine. I wouldn't mind the ability to disable/enable them from this menu.

If I understand your question, since the oil life isn't based only on miles I don't see how that's possible. For example, if you do nothing but 1/2 mile trips in the dead of winter, the oil life will run out after very few miles. If you just do 300 mile open highway runs, the oil life will be many many times as many miles.

Us spec don't have drls. Canada has fog lights as DRL and Export/EU has specific fog/drl lights setup with dedicated wiring for drl.
The US type signature led boards are wired as "constantly on parking lights" and are unable to be switched off with BCM config a dedicated way.
However, you can enable your IPC settings to switch on/off drl with a configured setup (drls: parking lights as drl, fogs, turn signals).

Right, I did enable the DRLs and set them to be the fog lights and I tested the other various lights and they all worked. The Daytime Lamps option is always gray on my dash and I can't scroll to it or select it. Even though it it unchecked, the fog lights still are DRLs

That was it, thanks! Unfortunately, now the DRLs don't work regardless of the IPC setting. If I revert 726-16-02 back to stock, the DRLs work again but the IPC setting gets grayed out again.

set last byte in 726-21-01 to 1 so it looks like ****.****.01**

Thanks! I will add the code whenever I get some time. What do you mean by the same card...? It should show up. Also on top right if you click on the "__" symbol it'll prompt you for a search. When the search is made it'll highlight the word from your search on the card.
App looks good! If you still need help entering data, let me know.

papinist: I didn't have a a sensitivity settings in the central display for Autolamps (Switching on). I just can set the autolamp time delay (Switching off). This feature keeps the headlights on for up to 120 seconds after the ignition is switched off. Any hints to reduce the switching on time?
I'm actually looking for the same thing for my car.
Anyone knows the codes to change with Forscan ?

The oil life is based of milaged
The manual says it is based an many different factors. Page 420:

Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor™
Your vehicle is equipped with an Intelligent
Oil-Life Monitor that determines when you
should change the engine oil based on how
your vehicle is used. By using several
important factors in its calculations, the
monitor helps reduce the cost of owning
your vehicle and reduces environmental
waste at the same time.
This means you do not have to remember
to change the oil on a mileage-based
schedule. Your vehicle lets you know when
an oil change is due by displaying a
message in the information display.
The following table provides examples of
vehicle use and its impact on oil change
intervals. It is a guideline only. Actual oil
change intervals depend on several factors
and generally decrease with severity of
use.

Also, I haven't looked in the Mustang yet, but our 2012 Explorer lets you reset the monitor to several different percentages. It doesn't just have to go back to 100%. Now that the engine is getting on in that vehicle (and the warranty is coming to an end) I have considered resetting it to less than 100%.

It might be the intent for the oil life to be based on utilization but it sure seems like it's locked to 10k miles and I see no way in the console to change the percentage. I used to drive about 100 highway miles per day which was about 90% of my total driving. It would make sense that it was always using 10k for oil life then. More recently most of my driving is short trip, not exceeding 15 miles and some only 1 mile and my oil life still seems to always be based on 10k. I always change the oil at 5k and use the odometer but it would be nice if I could change the oil life to 5k.
