I had time to do some research. For this, only the second digit in that group is relevant... Changes occur with 0001, 0101, and 0201. 0301 through 0E01 appear identical to 0201:

REGISTER 7D0-03-01

xxxx 0001 xxxx - "Ford Classic" (colorful) Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0101 xxxx - "Ford Mustang" Theme (Mustang Pony Shutdown)
xxxx 0201 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0301 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0401 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0501 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0601 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0701 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0801 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0901 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0A01 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0B01 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0C01 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0D01 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)
xxxx 0E01 xxxx - "Ford Timeless" Theme (Blue Oval Shutdown)

"Ford Classic", Ford Mustang", and "Ford Timeless" theme names are pulled from the SYNC3 diagnostics screen. the themes are as follows:

ford-classic
ford-mustang
ford-raptor
ford-shelby
ford-shelbyR
ford-timeless
ford-vignale
lincoln-blacklabel
lincoln-presidential
lincoln-timeless

With the exception of "ford-classic", the themes in the diagnostic menu seem to only affect the screen shown at shutdown. The highlight colors remain their medium-blue color.

The Lincoln themes are all the same gold theme used in Lincoln vehicles, only differentiating the shutdown screen as well.

"Timeless" for either Ford or Lincoln seem to represent the standard logos and themes on most vehicles in the lineup.

With the presence of the Lincoln and Classic themes in the diagnostic menu, and our ability to identify the setting to make the Classic, Mustang, and Timeless themes permanent in the APIM, I'm sure the ability to make the shutdown screen changes as well as the Lincoln gold theme permanent are there as well, but have not identified it yet.

But I feel we can at least canonize the three available themes as confirmed for now.
i'm assuming this is a sync 3 thing? at least the 'theme' part.

do you have the enhanced security package?

anyway, you guys just close the door and walk away from your car?
Active antitheft is what the window sticker says.

LOL, not normally, somewhere I got it in my head that this car auto locks itself.

Very happy, just enabled:

Simultaneous High Beams & Fog Lights
Simultaneous Fog Lights & Turn Signal
Police Dark Mode

Thanks! Can't wait to see what else there will be.

2. I'm confused. Are you talking about autolocking the doors when you're driving and you hit 20mph or whatever? (available in IDS) or are you talking about locking the doors when the car is OFF and you walk away?
I meant auto-locking after leaving the car. Now I see you were talking about locking when you get moving. Sorry.

And here is the irony of this Locking that makes no sense: If you stop the car and shut it off, after 30 seconds, the steering column locks and the arm rest console locks, but the doors dont when you walk away. figure that rocket science out.

I just had my car door open, engine on. When I turn the engine off when the door is still open, all my locks are engaged (console, steering, and doors). Does yours do this?

Seriously? Did you double-check?
If yes, what happens if you turn dark mode (police mode) off again (think you have it enabled IIRC)?

I just checked and mine does not exhibit this behavior; I just enabled dark mode yesterday, not sure if it was doing so beforehand, but I don't think so.

Not sure if this was covered here somewhere but, here goes:

IF you wanted to return to the defaults for everything, has someone posted how you would go about it?

I'm guessing there's a way to upload the as-built file (the one that can be downloaded for your VIN) into FORScan and overwrite all the values with the default ones?

PS - Not that I want to do this today, but would be useful, say, if one needed to take the vehicle in for warranty work and didn't want the dealership to discover you've been playing around with these values.

you should have taken a backup of your abd file before modifying. you can restore from those files.

I'll have to double check. I do have the enhanced security package, so maybe it has something to do with that.

OK, thanks, I'll have to do that (I've only made those 3 changes, so no big deal).

Did a quick Google search and this post seems to outline how to use that downloaded .ab file to set the vehicle back to stock (if I understand it correctly).

it's similar to that (that post refers to the CCC programming stuff it looks like). same difference, load config -> find your existing .ab -> write

You might want to re-check that door comment. The doors do not lock. Thats was something I brought up awhile ago and the dealer confirmed it. After shutting off the car, 30 seconds later the steering locks and center console, but the drivers door and passengers door do not automatically. After walking away and putting your fob at a safe distance come back to the car and you will see the doors remain open.

And this was like this before I started playing with forscan, and I have the enhanced security package too.
