Walked away from three different cars 3months apart at same dealer. Saw this on a drive by on my way home from work. Went in a bought it after leaving on them one more time. Loved the front end. It sold me.

I was really worried about the ride. I have just the BMR performance springs. I live semi rural Oklahoma, so really bad roads at times. The car rides 10x better. It is far from harsh. I know it would have to be put through some real test to see if there are any performance gains, but I think the car rides way better than it did and stays flat through aggressive corners. I do not have the PP as I have an Auto car, but it really took away the bounce without being overly firm. I felt stock the car felt like it was floating all over the place at times. I really did not like it.

Here's the new stance on stock 19s.

Car looks great.

i've learned from past cars there is such a thing as going too far. On my old 2005 GTO, when I bought it new, in less than two years of ownership it wore long tubes headers, no cats, a magnaflow catback and a pretty stout sized camshaft.

I later regretted going with the catless setup. I hated the smell, as well as the significant volume increase. I have since made it so any car I have if I mod it to the point of headers, I keep the cats, and will continue to going forth. High Flow cats will do the job

Roush Exhaust was my biggest regret. I expected to sound the same as on my 2011, but was too quiet thanks to the beefier resonator. Ended up buying a Corsa Extreme Catback for Black Friday a few days later and love every second of it.

Why do say this? Just curious. Sound? Fitment? Quality? Thanks
Sound, fitment, and overall build quality I would consider excellent on the SW setup. Customer service is alright. I was one of the first installs of the full setup. It was clear to me that the proper R&D wasn't done before releasing the system, though. Performance was consistently 10-20rwhp lower than comparable ARH cars at the same shop and dyno I had mine put on. We also discovered on my car that O2 extensions were necessary after SW and the vendor insisted that wasn't the case. Guess who ended up being right? ARH included the extensions from the start.

What is it that makes you regret the SW headers? I'm just about to make a purchase and I'm on the fence between the two.

Thanks
See above.

Headers or catback or both regret????
Both. We had this long ass thread over a year ago going back and forth. I'm a believer that SW has always held my power back and continues to do so. Seen a few of the ARH cars that don't have the same power "issues". Not saying I'm even right in thinking this but next go 'round SW isn't getting my dollars. I don't want to start another fight about it, just stating my regret.

FWIW I think it sounds amazing and I get compliments constantly on the sound in traffic.

My Evo was catless, at first it bugged me, smelled like my lawn mower. But I grew to like it, especially on the cool damp mornings. Now that Evo is gone, I really miss it. No worries though, ARH headers and Corsa extreme are waiting for me in my shop, if I ever get around to installing them.

I wonder if you are getting any false spark knock from something hitting the exhaust like in this thread here http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36141

There have been a TON of threads on SVTP forums regarding HP/TQ differences and between all 3(Kooks, ARH, SW) and they are very close in numbers according to all the threads I've read. So close that any of the headers for our car are good choices and not enough of a difference in any of them to declare a "winner". Even the PYPES headers were a contender and I have never like their quality.

Thanks for the reply:cheers:
