Waste of money. Unless you lockout the cams and are chasing tenths.

actually the tension on the drivers side is the opposite of what it should be, if your in there, it's not a bad idea for the $$, its a pretty cheap part

So correct me if I'm wrong. It has variable cam timing, and the pcm keeps track of it by the reluctor on each cam. So the cam timing changes maybe 1-2 degrees throughout the rpm range because of the tensioner. The phasers are constantly adjusting for it by what the reluctor feeds back to the pcm.
