Looking at installing one of the above mentioned hood struts. Has anyone had a problem with either of these?

I'd prefer to uae ones that don't require drilling, and these were the two I found.

The list of things I want to do is growing faster than the wallet can keep up with!

I prefer and have always used Redline,They are also the only brand that designed a new bracket for the lower hood line of the 2018-2019's.Instead of jut changing the label to say they fit 2015-2019.

Well, 3 replies, all for redline. Guess I need to take a long hard look at redline.

Thanks for the input.

I just have the Ford Performance set. Was extremely easy. Had to drill the 1 hole in the plastic battery cover but was a piece of cake.

I have the Steeda one, installs the same as FP. You'll need to drill a hole in the battery cover.

I got the FP one initially as it was the cheapest option out there, but felt it wasn't good enough so returned it and got the Steeda, so far happy with it.

So one thing I've noticed is that the Roush ones look like they open backwards. Maybe it's just me, but it looks different.

Can anyone with the Roush ones confirm this, and does it seem to make a difference?
