Mix 5w-20 with 5w-30

Now that I have some miles on my car I was going to hop up to 5w-30, engine is getting a bit noisy so wanted to go with a thicker oil. I still have 4 quarts of 5w-20 from my last couple changes, and was thinking of getting 4 quarts of 5w-30 as a partial transition. Would you do it?

Well I do live in Florida and the weather is warm all year round. Some say the 5w30 is to thick for this engine and that 5w20 is whats supposed to be used. Im a OCD freak when it comes to maintenance so I aways want the best lol.

It says 5-20 on the cap, put in 5-20 plain and simple.
