Recently installed Kooks long tubes on my car and while removing the passenger side motor mount bracket, the top left bolt was not there. Bracket has 4 bolts, one at each corner attaching it to the block, and the top left one was not installed. It doesn't have any sign of wear either that would indicate there ever was one that possibly fell out somehow. Mistake from the factory somehow ?

That's all I could think of as well, just very weird to think they missed installing one completely. Wanted to see if by chance someone else came across something as random as well lol

Are you the original owner? Never had a motor replacement or the motor pulled by a speed shop or anything?

2nd owner, bought it with 1700 miles on it bone stock with absolutely nothing touched on it. Had my friend who works for Ford do an Oasis report on it which searches all the Ford dealerships for any type of interaction with the vin if its ran in the system at all and nothing was ever reported. Carfax obviously clean as well. Like you said a private shop could've worked on the car but what makes me think nothing was ever touched is there is no marking at all on the hole for the bolt. All the other holes for the bolts show wear from the head of the bolt you know what I mean, this one was perfectly untouched as if a bolt was never installed

I don't have anyone locally with another gt350 that I know, but I was thinking of speaking with Kooks themselves to see if they ever come across it only because I know they do installs a lot as well. Or if anyone on here who did the install came across it, feel free to chime in

Passenger. Top left bolt that connects the motor mount bracket to the block.

This is a pic of an after market engine mount. This pic is I believe on the drivers side. So I'm asking is this pic close to the actual look and if so are you saying that one of the outer bolts on the passenger side, specifically the left bolt was not there?

Sorry my wording got confusing. The motor mount itself is fine and has both bolts accounted for. The Bracket that bolts to the block and sits on the motor mount on the frame is missing one bolt. The picture honeybadger attached is the bracket showing the 4 bolts, that is where im missing one. Like he said it certainly shows all 4 bolts present on the bracket so I just ordered a bolt from TascaParts to throw in there. Now itll just keep me up at night for months wondering why the hell it was missing in the first place, way to make my anxiety question everything haha

Ok cool. I was just trying to get a clear picture. If this bolt never was installed, I dunno what to say. Maybe "World Class Vehicles" "Built by World-Class People"? Now I have to check mine...

Of course, thanks for the input, every idea helps. Ill try to get a clear picture if I can now that everything is back together to show you why I think it was never installed. There's no marking at all around the hole which there certainly would be If a bolt was tightened down in it like normal, all the others had obvious marking once I removed the bolts. Maybe the lunch break whistle rang after the 3rd bolt was installed and it was overlooked afterwards, who knows now !
