My 16 GT started out with a B2S1 02 sensor code and sure enough it was dead so I replaced it. Car still didn’t seem right and got a po308 so I replaced plugs and #8 coil, gapped em to .050, deleted codes and still has a miss. I drive it for a few miles and start getting lean codes so pulled intake to check the flaps and both sides opened when I applied vacuum. Are the supposed to open at the exact same time cause it seemed like one side opened a second or 2 before the other. Reinstall intake and now getting #2 misfire codes and surging idle from 600-800 rpm repetitively. Put a new coil and plug on #2 and code coming back. Could I have a clogged injector from running E85 possibly you guys think? Motor sounds fine internally speaking - no clicking, tapping, knocking -well cared for and 40k miles

Possibly a cracked intake manifold. It happens alot. They're delicate.

The area there the actuators move back & forth inside cracks.

Latest codes po300,po308,po306, and po316. Basically misfire, random misfire, and misfire on start up

You definitely have a cracked intake manifold. That's exactly what happens.

Before you load the parts cannon again I'd suggest a smoke test.
If KingKona is right it will be pretty obvious.

Ok cool, I was aware they are a common issue & was starting to lean that way as far as diag but figured I’d ask hoping it wasn’t. Codes are just kinda all over the place so I knew something goofy goin on. I spent prob 5-6 hrs & $40 in dremel bits porting this one so sucks to have to do it all over again. Don’t have $ for a low ram atm. On the new one, will doing an imrc lockout lessen The likelihood of another crack? I like the idea of of keeping it for mpg & low rpm grunt but if it’s less likely to give me problems if I delete, then I’ll go that route. Thanks for the input, much appreciated
