OMFG. Every single person who has seen my car absolutely loves the pony lights. I feel bad for you.
Agreed, best feature on Premium trim models are the Pony Projection Lights.

I am in the cheesy but cool at the same time camp. Very gimmicky to say the least.

if those are the best feature of the premium package I sure am glad I went base.

I do wish I had the tach turning red at redline

I want to be able to change the color like the interior lights. I think it would be cool to be able to turn them on with a switch for car shows and other off-road events. Not sure I'd want them on all the time though. It can be done. All you have to do is locate the wire, splice it and run it to a toggle switch. Problem solved. Now someone locate the wire!!!
I was reading another thread about people using a specific color Sharpie on a piece of clear tape, and then taping over the lens.

I saw some guys at a shop working on a new lens insert for these one was a glock and the other a punisher skull, not sure that it worked though.

Pretty sure American Muscle has inserts you can buy to change the color

LOL. I wish there was a way to turn them off completely. Cheesiest thing that came on the car IMHO.

These came on my 14 premium and I absolutely hated them as well. Got lucky and found a guy who wanted them and we swapped mirror "cores" and made a couple hundred bucks off the deal.

Are you sure about that? Fairly certain the pony projectors are a 2015 thing.

There's a thread started in October by Zombie that is offering colored gels for the lights. He has a lot of colors. I got mine. They are red.

Pony that projects from under the side mirrors? Yep definitely had them...sorry to burst your bubble. Im guessing they were available on the 13s too. It was a part of the comfort package i believe with the heated mirrors. Guy literally paid me like 200$ for them and we had an issue with me getting his "cores" so Fedex gave me an extra 125 so i made out like a bandit considering I just had them covered up.

People are able to code BMWs to achieve the functionality you are describing. I imagine someone will figure out a way to access and code the mustang one day.

Not really sure this is a bubble bursting event. But thanks for clearing it up for me.
