Hmm I already have my components and components amp. Can I use the passive crossover on the components with the minidsp? I'd hate to buy a new amp. Unfortunately its a two-channel amp so I can't take the passive crossover out of the occasion and run it active.
Yes, you have the ability to bypass the crossover settings in the DSP, but if you only have a two channel amp and will be using the passive crossover with your components that means the only real function the DSP would be serving is equalization... you can't really time-align speakers through a passive crossover effectively. In other words, with your setup, you don't really need the DSP.

BTW, I see your from Sacramento... I grew up in Grass Valley about 45mins north of you... I miss that area sometimes!

Great amp, I have two of them myself, in my "boo, hiss" Camaro :D

To get the most out of the 6x8, you really need to go fully active, using the crossovers in the 6x8 rather than passive ones that come with most speaker sets. Shoot me a PM and we can discuss...

You guys have got me thinking about putting all my car audio in the car now. I ordered a 401A car, but I gues i'm gonna throw most of it in the trash now!:D
I have a pair of Stereo Integrity MKIV's, 2 JL Audio 900/5's, and a pair of Dynaudio 650's for the doors and some custom tweets that were made from a group buy over at DIYMobile I was gonna pair with the Dyn's. Wonder if anybody makes a off the shelf box with the right amount of airspace for these MKIV's.....hmmm.

Hey Bob,
I'm a diymobile member myself... go by EeeDeeEye over there.

Your SI says its optimized for a .5 - .6 ft^3 enclosure. According to zenclosures web site, if you tell them the amount of air space you need, the will match it appropriately...
