So glad to be back in a Mustang. I sold my 2011 GT a few years back after my son was born. Wanted to get into something a bit easier to deal with on a daily basis. I traded for a 2010 GTI, that car was a blast to drive and really versatile.

Now that my kids are a bit older it's time for another Mustang!

Started claying it last night after a wash. The paint felt really smooth after washing. Using the plastic bag method where you put your hand in a plastic bag and rub the paint revealed it was really rough.

This pic is the result of the roof only, this was a completely clean piece of clay. The trunk lid was similar results. So far the clay hasn't pulled too much off the sides of the car.

After claying is finished Griot's Garage paint sealant will go on.

Finished with the clay and Griot's Garage sealant. After the next wash a coat of Griot's Best of Show wax will go on.

What do you think about the reverse park sensors? Are they too visible?

They don't really bother me but I'd prefer not to see them. For me it's worth having them since I park in a garage at work. I'm always trying to squeeze into corner or end spots and make as much room as possible between myself and the car next to me. The sensor combined with the rear cam make this much easier.
