If you are planning on doing long tubes and/or cat deletes it might be a worthwhile investment if you don't want added rasp because most chambered mufflers get kinda nasty (in a bad way) sounding with long tubes or without cats.

I think it's kind of a hybrid of sorts, with one chamber and otherwise straight through. That's how it looks, anyway. No metallic rasp at all with the this one. I don't ever plan on doing headers so it should be ok. It's just about whether or not this is quiet enough for my daily. I've had them on for about 1,200 miles now. The odd part is that it's only a tad loud/intrusive with the windows up and the A/C on. Otherwise I love it. The A/C on thing I actually noticed before I did the axleback but after I did the shifter bushing.

The installer at the shop bought the old exhaust system including the Roush Axle backs and discounted the new MegnaFlow system.

Buy these and get them welded in behind the x-pipe. It will reduce the volume by 30%+, reduce the raspiness, too.

Where exactly would you weld these in...I don't see a whole lot of straight area.
