I would reckon it won’t ditch the V8 for the production version. Maybe a TT V6 will be the chosen race motor for the C8R, or maybe there will be drivetrain options between the 8 and TT6?
Didn’t do a lot of searching but the speculation is the clip above is not what you’ll see in an everyday C8 powertrain wise. Either way, it looks awesome and I’m really surprised. In a good way.
