Why not!!
We all know Ford can produce Mid-Engine Sport car (Ford GT), but since new Ford GT are going for $400,000.00. That left the huge gap in between since last GT gen going for $150,000.00. Should Ford come up with new name plate for a $100,000.00 to $150,000.00 Mid Engine Sport car and produce 5,000 car per year? Ford got all the major components in hand such as engine, transmission, etc..
Ford can use other engines that are not dedicated to specific car such as 5.0 CPC, 5.2 CPC, for transmission Ford can use Ford GT MT, this would cost less for R&D.
C'mom :ford: you can do it.
