Michelin recommends 32 psi for the tires f/r. I didn't realize this at first and had been running 35 psi all around since I got the car a few months back, as that's what my former GT500's tires called for.

At 35 psi, the tires handled/braked/performed fine; but after I realized my error, I backed the tire pressures off to 32 psi on all four when the tires were cold & as indicated w/the on-screen readings.

Well, I find myself not liking this pressure as the tires do not seem to perform as well, and slip more frequently, especially if I get on the accelerator a little bit. Hard to believe that only a few lbs. of pressure could make such a difference.

Anyone else have this experience?

I keep mine at 35 all the time. I don't feel any difference from the recommended 32 PSI. That's odd that you're slipping more with the lower tire pressure. You think it would be the opposite.

You're just used to the car riding like a brick. I use 32 cold, and it handles perfectly fine, even with aggressive cornering, since the pressure raises to about 35-36 when warm. With 35 cold, they're approaching 40 when warm; that's a lot.

I run the MPS4 rears at 31 and the fronts at 32. Digital tire pressure gauge (not the one on the dash) although they seem to give almost the exact same readings.
