Meet Scarlet

She arrived on the transport truck this morning and hasn't finished make-ready. She comes home on Saturday.

The dealer already put their insignia on the back however (even though I previously asked them not to). The insignia is attached via adhesive so I'll remove it when I get home. I looked her over and it looks like they did a good job.

The color looks a bit "orangey" in the photos. That's probably caused by the late afternoon sun (almost dusk) and my smartphone camera not doing a good job reproducing the actual color. The color is actually a deeper red when viewed in-person.

I'm ready to take her home!

I live a couple miles down from Bob Tomes Ford! That's funny. Both my dad and I go there to get service done. Congratulations, looks great! You should bring it down to cars and coffee in Plano if you get the chance. Just make sure you get there early!

How many 15's do they have there? I usually try and spot them when I'm passing the dealer off of 75 but there's so many trucks blocking them.

LOL! It's a small world for sure! Thank you for the comment and invite ...I will check out the Plano C&C! I didn't count all the 2015s they have while I was there but I recall seeing about a half dozen out on the lot. I checked their inventory via ford.com and it shows that they have ten in inventory (and 3 "dealer ordered" on the way).

Definitely make them remove that sticker and check it over carefully. That back piece is $900 from Ford. It discolors with any type of buffing. Make sure they do it and not you. Those stickers should be illegal. :doh:
