Where are you getting the opticoat done and what's it going to run you.

Also what's the time needed to complete?

I told the dealership that I could get 1.9% from my credit union, but I was unsure of the length of the loan at that rate (I later checked and it was their 36 month rate). They did their magic and got me 1.65% for 72 months through Capital One Auto Loans. My credit score came in at 835, which likely helped get that rate.
I got the same exact car, same interest rate and same credit score, like deja blue all over again... :clap2:;):D

I need to preface this by saying I have absolutely no affiliation with the below-mentioned company/personnel and I'm deriving no benefits from posting about this, because it sounds like I'm a shill. If he does a terrible job, I'll let you guys know.

I'm having Rick from Unique Car Care in Stoneham, MA perform the Opti-Coat. He's doing the full clean, clay bar, buff/polish, residue removal, and Opti-Coat. I heard great things about him from various forums (BRZ, BMW), and looking at his website (he updates his Facebook site more often), he does a lot of higher end cars (GTR, Ferraris, Porsches).

I called him up, saying that I got his contact info from some car forums, and all I can say is that he's giving me a great deal. It sounds like it's a "forum special". He asked that I not share how much he's charging, so I'm respecting his wishes. His availability is great right now, needing just a few days notice and a day to do the actual work. I'm planning on dropping my car off this Friday and picking it up the following Friday due to my scheduling issues (I'm kind of far away in RI).

I'm planning on bringing a good DSLR to take some good photos. I'll update this thread with photos/impressions after I pick it up.

I'm so jealous of the tint because it looks great and I can't do it here legally in NJ. Congrats.

It's not even close to legal in RI, either. Our lower limit is 70% transmission.

The tint was already applied when I committed to buying the car, so I'll just drive it until otherwise notified by LEO.
