mbrp street vs race

Can anyone confirm my thoughts? I'm thinking of getting the race

mbrp street
- no drone
- deep at cruising, raspier when on it
- lots of people flat out dislike the sound at WOT

mbrp race
- some drone
- deep at all rpms
- how is WOT?

Also, how is the volume compared to roush axleback? I don't want something insanely loud. Hearing the roush I could've lived with that as about the max volume. Is this one louder? Shouldn't be getting any excessive noise ticket violations right?

That's the whole reason i'm avoiding the roush AB.

I kinda like the transition from deep at low speed to higher/raspier at high rpm. Sounds exotic. But that's just me.

Hmm anyone know how the race system sounds WOT? Same thing where it gets a little raspy?

I have the Race and overall for the cost, I'm really happy with it. No raspiness at all, at any RPM period.

Drone in 6th gear at 60 MPH is horrible though, but other than that...it's an awesome exhaust. The best I've had with my MAC Pro-Dumps a very, very close second.

I have the race in black and I love it. A buddy of mine and myself both just ordered them from beefcake and installed them. We both love the sound. Here is a video I made of mine.

Had the black, Race catback installed this morn, I like how the black 4.5 tips blend in and compliment the black wheels. So far I'm loving the sound, car has an aggressive tone to it which is bad-assery! Thanks again [MENTION=11520]Blitz[/MENTION] for the install brother!!

got a race in black delivered to Aus from beefcake at a great price. couldn't recommend them anymore, really easy to deal with and sorted the international delivery. can't comment on the sound as I don't have a car yet... but I can't wait!
