Yes, I’m that guy. Smh. Anyone know an easy way to get the spoiler nut out of the trunk lid? My arm fits pretty far but not far enough. Haven’t tried a magnet but I’m guessing I’ll just catch the sheet metal.

Got one out with double sided tape on a coat hanger. Like a magnet, the sheet metal sticks to the tape BUT unlike a magnet, the tape doesn't cause the bolt to be just as strongly attracted to the sheet metal. Make sure the tape is on whatever you use well enough to not pull itself off on the sheet metal and that what you put it on is stronger than the bond between the tape and the sheet metal.

Then never again use anything but a magnetic socket. Worked for me. LoL
