I put an address in Ford Pass and the map takes me to the destination then the map moves to the local Ford dealer and changes directions to there. WTF?

I just had this happen to me today. Really confused me the first couple of times. Thought I was hitting something.

This is happening to me again. Ford maps will not go to the address. Goes to theocal Ford dealer instead.

Kinda sounds like it’s trying to tell you there is a problem.

yeah, Ford's legendary QC extends to their programming team.
Short answer use a proper map program. Why anyone doesn't burn FordPass in effigy is beyond me.

Can some one please tell me how to get Waze to work. I had it on the car then took it if for some service and battery replacement and not Waze is gone from my apps. I have tried the plug in that ever YouTube video shows and no dice. Is there any type of special trick to regain Waze to Sync three. I have 301 package by the way

Where are you expecting to see the Waze icon? It is only available once Android Auto or CarPlay has taken over the screen. If it is not showing as one of the available apps, check your phone settings within AA or CP. I know in AA you need to check box the apps you would like to have on the interface. I don't know if this is true for CP.

Ford changed the apps feature on the main screen. Waze can only work through AA or CP now. When you took your car in they likely updated the Sync system to a more recent version.

Matt, maps in FordPass is not an actually app. You can punch in an address but then need to send it to Google, Waze, or Apple Maps.

But this is incorrect. At the dealership the sales manager pulled out his phone and went to maps in FordPass and typed in an address. He pulled up the option 'Send to vehicle.' we went to his car and the directions began when he started the car. My car will not do this.
