Right now, Adam is working on dialing in some street mannerisms to the existing tune before we continue onward with our quest to achieve 700WHP. That being said, I wanted to get you guys a little bit of an update and I thought that this would be the best way to get it done. ENJOY!

I have a question (im not that knowledgeable with engines) getting to 700 HP 1000 HP where ever it stops.
my question is What/where is the limit of sustained power? meaning if I have my engine built & i get on a closed road, what can I do?
every dyno ive seen shows get to that landmark & shut it down

Rods, pistons, sleeved block, ported head, fuel system, you could easily go 800whp. I know a SEMA car is pushing 900 on the 4 banger...

HAHAHAHA... I know, right? I have to admit, I was skeptical when we first got the new Mustang... but it keeps proving itself as capable and it is certainly a blast to drive...now I am a believer, too!

I tend to agree... but when it comes to longevity, honestly, only time will tell. I find myself saying this all the time, but at any given time, a person can only throw as much technology as they can at a build. When a platform is new, you can't simply say "that engine is good for this amount...or that amount for this amount of time"... you can just apply as much science and experience as possible to really test the waters.

Since this platform is essentially new, one can draw lines of inference from similar engines, but that is as close as it's going to get. For example, we built a Mazdaspeed engine for a local customer about 3 years ago. That engine has held up ever since while making good power... so I am actually very optimistic about this power plant, but I think that is the safest answer given the age of this platform.
