I received a message from Ford pass yesterday that I have a malfunction. When I clicked on it it states: the power supply to the transmission control system is lower than required for proper system operation. This can result in transmission not operating as expected when concern is present. Have vehicle checked by an authorized dealer ASAP. Has anyone ever received this message. The vehicle has 495 miles and has been in storage since beginning of November with battery tender. On February 28 my detail shop came to get the vehicle with their enclosed trailer for PPF and ceramic. The car is at their shop still and is not connected to tender it has been in their display area/ showroom. The dealer is about 20 miles away. Would you drive it? Thanks in advance.

More than likely if this car is sitting for longer than 2 weeks it goes into deep sleep mode, and after that the cells in the battery can and will start to get weaker. I would say your battery is probably is going bad and the system is warning you, I'd call them and ask them to run the car for at least 15 mins and check again, or when you get the car back get the battery load tested to make sure it doesnt have to be replaced.

That's what I was thinking a low power supply. Like I said it was on a tender all winter and since they have had it's only been started a few times and had sat in their display area for like 3 weeks now and hasn't been started. I find it hard to believe the battery is bad the car was built in August and I got it in September and well cared for. Thanks for your input tho

Only other thing it could be is maybe a wire is loose or not making full contact. But dont be surprised, my car was built July 2nd and by Aug 7 the battery had to be replaced at the railyard because it went completely dead with a bad cell.

Without a battery maintainer connected, due to all the "stuff" on these cars and their tendency to "phone home to momma", they will drop the battery voltage in 2-3 weeks. Due to long stretches of rotten weather, I have had the voltage drop, so now I plug it in whenever I park it.

I picked the car up at the detail shop and drove it home not really very but it probably ran for about 20 mins. No lights on dash car drove performed well. Got it back into the garage with battery tender hooked up. The alert from Ford pass is gone. Seems all is well.
