Got my car cleaned, clayed, and sealed today with optimum gloss-coat. Came out great!

Actually I rather like that it's pretty much charcoal/black in low light conditions. I wanted something between 'hey does that black car 50 feet away have swirl marks on it?' and 'look hunny, 38 silver cars in a line, new record!'. I'd say magnetic fits the bill perfectly, but I can understand how it can seem flat or dull if you are expecting a pop from the color. It's honestly what turned me away from DIB - it's amazing in sunlight, but I wanted a sheen instead of metallic flake so it would look good in low light conditions. Unfortunately, when I saw a DIB it looked boring and like a cheap repaint inside. Probably my favorite in sunlight, though I went magnetic because it stays classy instead of boring in the evening.
My issue with magnetic is it really loses the nice contrast of the black pieces, (grill, diffuser, side lamps underneath, etc). If it was just a tad lighter I think it would be a great color. Just not for me after seeing it next to Ingot or Ruby.

Where's all the Magnetic love? I will never be disappointed I bought this color. It looks great in any lighting.

Your 'issue' is exactly the reason I love the color. In some lights, it just looks like a shadow. In the Sun, it looks like a Star! Just the way Frankie likes it.

Once I get my stripes, I'll post more pics.
