Magnetic drain plug result

I decided to change my oil before winter since the car will
be seeing very limited use.

Last spring when did an oil change I installed a magnetic drain plug partly because the drain plug seemed stronger tha the factory one and partly because of the magnet.
Here is a couple of pictures of what the plug looked like. The oil had around 1,000 miles on it and I am not sure if this level of stuff on the magnet is normal or bad

just wondering what others think. I have plenty of warranty leftand I drive it to
enjoy it but thought this experiment was interesting

First, the photos are blurry for the business end of the magnet.

Look into Blackstone labs for oil analysis if you have any concern pertaining to the health of your engine. Some swear by it, some think its a waste of money. I will say is that I use Blackstone and there isn't a better way to determine the health of your engine.

A magnet on the end of a plug will only tell you so much.
