Just a heads up for those who are shopping for exhaust. I have a 16GT with a Roush Phase 2 Supercharger kit. (the 727hp version). I didn't do enough research and went on the advice of an exhaust shop and put Flowmaster Super 44's (axle back) on my car. After a couple weeks they started to sound awful... like 2 coffee cans being dragged behind the car. The idle is ok but under a load its awful.
I called Flowmaster and they listed to the car and agreed it sounded bad. They thought maybe a baffle came loose. They sent me 2 new ones no charge which I thought was great. Unfortunately after about 2 weeks they started to sound the same and now its just worse. When I talked to the rep I asked if I needed to change to a different style muffler and he told me no.
Now I've spent labor twice and will have to a 3rd time. I could have bought the most expensive full system on the market at this point for the total I'll have to spend to buy something else and have it installed.
Lesson Learned... and stay away from Flowmasters
