Glad you're ok, also happy to hear I'm not the only BJJ guy on this forum. I've trained 13 years, got my brown September last year and clearly have an addiction considering I'm training 4 to 5 times a week at 45 y/o LOL.

Bad things happen when good people do nothing. Bad people need to know they can't do what they want when they want to whoever they want.
Good Samaritans keep getting hurt though.
Can be a fine line, doing the right thing and getting shot in the head for it.

Nah, don’t regret it one bit, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do

I hate thiefs as much as anyone else but i gotta say, it ain’t worth it over stuff that can be replaced. Unless someone is coming into my house when my family is home (then I will absolutely take action and they’ll regret coming into my house for sure), I’d rather they take the stuff and I’ll get camera shots and license plates. Insurance will take care of the stuff that is stolen.

If you feel it was worth the risk, more power to you. I’d rather be around for my wife and kids and not take that risk. Glad you were not injured (or worse) but you just never know what some stranger is willing to do just to get someone else’s stuff.

Exactly, everyone has their own risk tolerance. And…nobody knows what they are going to do until they are actually out into that scenario.
