Mach 1 Factory Active Exhaust

Does anybody have a factory mach 1 active exhaust for sale? Looking to buy, willing to pickup or pay for shipping as needed. Cat-back or axle-back (prefer axle-back).

Yep wanting to put the factory mach 1 on my gt w/ active exhaust. In my opinion ford messed up with the active exhaust tips on the GT... but the mach 1 and gt500 look perfect! Just looking for someone who may have upgraded to different mufflers already.

they sell at kit and say you need different rear diffuser? I have had both setups and the M1 tips are way better and you won t cut your finger off cleaning them... You got first set and I call dips on second set, LOL... I don t really see too many guys removing that setup. Maybe find a wreck?

Definitely have to have the Mach1/GT500 diffuser as the tips are way lower and different angle... It would look way weird if you didn't do a diffuser. And they are rare as hens teeth too to find... And yes, that was a HUGE selling point to me on the Mach1, I won't be upgrading it

That price isn't bad in the grand scheme of things. Cheaper than a full Borla cat back by far...

Had a friend almost total an Orange Mach 1. They got it rebuilt but the body shop could not procure a genuine Mach 1 exhaust. Was really sad for them. they put a standard GT exhaust on it and it looked really strange...

Some manufacturers do actually restrict the sale of specific parts on special edition vehicles.

Mach 1 tips hang lower than the GT tips, so you’ll need the Mach 1 valance for the best results. I did the Ford Performance kit… very happy with it!

How long did it take Ford to deliver it to you? I ordered it 2 weeks ago, still hasn't shipped. The had a hold on my credit card, but when I look it up on Ford's website, it just saying still processing.

I don’t recall specifically, it was a while back… I had it shipped to my local Ford dealer and I don’t recall it taking an excessive amount of time.

Good luck to you… I still think it was one of my favorite mods to my car!

I’ve got a question for the group. I purchased a M1 that the previous owner actually cut off the factory exhaust and installed something aftermarket (Don’t ask me why, I would have not have purchased the car had I known, but otherwise the car is amazing) .

I purchased a full Borla cat back that hasn’t been installed yet, but now I’m nervous that the Borla tips won’t clear the M1 valence? Has anyone installed an aftermarket exhaust on a M1? Whenever I went to the Borla website they would only pull up their x-pipe as an option for the M1, which I always chalked up to owners typically not wanting to remove the factory exhaust.

Any thoughts? American Muscle’s website says it will fit.

I think the Mach 1 trips are 4 or 4 1/2 inches wide and the gt500 are 5 inches wide. The rear valence is the same. You should be good.
