  2. 2020 GT500 factory axleback on GT

Sorry to revive an old thread but does anybody know if the gt mustang valve/actuators can be installed on the gt500 mufflers with the active exhaust? I have a lined up purchase to get a gt500 muffler and tip setup that is active exhaust, just without the actuators I believe (i assume these were...
  3. What Injectors Are These??

I am thinking about it, looking at lu47 when I switch to e85 tune. Gotta replace a couple parts in the engine bay so figured I might as well do it while I’m in there.
  4. What Injectors Are These??

Ok so I am still new to this world (please excuse how dirty these are, when I get time to replace the vvt solenoids in a few weeks i am deep cleaning the entire engine bay) but I am doing what I can to learn as I go. Until then i wanted to confirm what fuel injectors are installed on the car. I...
  5. Abnormal camshaft lobe wear

I plan to pull the valve covers off here in the next week or two and replace the VCT/VVT solenoids on both banks. I have a 2019 GT with a build date of 6/19, I will inspect these components you have already mentioned seeing issues with and post on here if I see these as an issue as well. Not...
  6. VCT/VVT Solenoid Replacement

Thank you everybody for the responses to my post on this, I plan to do one final test/diagnostic to confirm the solenoid is my issue this weekend before I move forward with the repair in the next few weeks. I would like to get the car back in operating condition before the nice weather in the...
  7. VCT/VVT Solenoid Replacement

I know there are probably other threads on this same topic, but I am having a very hard time finding the answers and I am not exactly sure where to look. I am somewhat mechanically inclined but have never dug into actually engine work, so I am trying to get this all straightened out before...
  8. Mach 1 Factory Active Exhaust

Yep wanting to put the factory mach 1 on my gt w/ active exhaust. In my opinion ford messed up with the active exhaust tips on the GT... but the mach 1 and gt500 look perfect! Just looking for someone who may have upgraded to different mufflers already.
  9. Mach 1 Factory Active Exhaust

Does anybody have a factory mach 1 active exhaust for sale? Looking to buy, willing to pickup or pay for shipping as needed. Cat-back or axle-back (prefer axle-back).
  10. 2019 Mustang GT - P0300 Code

Adding on to this, I just put in a new PMAS air filter and cleaned the MAF sensor per suggestions. I feel like the AFR looked a little bit more stable, could just be a coincidence. The car is still struggling with rough idle when its warmed up at a stop light. It is also throwing a P0316 code...
  11. 2019 Mustang GT - P0300 Code

Ok so I have some updates on this issue. Firstly, the dealership I bought the car from paid for a highly rated performance shop near me to dyno tune the vehicle and get it running right. This was a month or so ago and since then the car has been running great. The check engine light is no longer...
  12. Slowly Upgrading as N/A... Planning for Boosted in the Future

I would imagine when I switch to E85 I would be right around that 470 range, on 93 I was not expecting very much. The shop that did the tune also had to get the car running right again and I had them dial it back a little bit compared to where it could be, wanted to make sure the car was back...
  13. Slowly Upgrading as N/A... Planning for Boosted in the Future

Thanks for the info! I have been looking at the stop the hop kits and would like to get one on here soon. Also have heard about the bushings will keep that in mind. I am looking to go E85 probably next spring after the winter hibernation of the car is over. Until boosted I would pretty much be...
  14. Slowly Upgrading as N/A... Planning for Boosted in the Future

I like to plan ahead as much as possible and prefer not to spend my money twice although it happens and will continue to happen. To keep it brief, with more detail below, my main goal is to build my 5.0 10R80 slowly N/A and once most items are completed take the jump to boosted, either...
  15. 2019 Mustang GT - P0300 Code

I finally had a chance to pull the MAF sensor and it is labeled as FoMoCo with no PMAS logo on it. I can assume this is probably the stock MAF sensor, without a tune on the vehicle I would guess this would cause some issues. Any chance it could cause a random misfire P0300?
  16. 2019 Mustang GT - P0300 Code

I was able to take some pictures of the engine bay, the bottom outlet of the intake pipe goes to an inlet right after the throttle body. One of the side ports is capped and the other runs to an inlet on the right valve cover. Also the MAF model number I have is different which maybe represents...
  17. 2019 Mustang GT - P0300 Code

I appreciate your help so far. I am currently at work and did not drive the car today, but I will post a picture of the engine bay with some close ups when I get home. In my original post I mentioned the dealer was concerned about the battery, but it tested to 78% life at 12.5v, sounds like its...
  18. 2019 Mustang GT - P0300 Code

The air fuel ratio when at idle is around 14, however, when the RPM starts to drop the AFR drops to 12.6 is what I recorded but I have seen it go lower, and then back up to 15 and starts to average back out at 14.2 or so.
  19. 2019 Mustang GT - P0300 Code

Thank you for the advice, I will continue down this path. I did some further investigation online and realized the car has a PMAS CAI, not sure if it is the tune required option or not. Lets say it is the tune required option, without a tune could that be the reason it is throwing an engine code...
  20. 2019 Mustang GT - P0300 Code

I recently purchased a 2019 Mustang GT Premium PP1 w/ 54k miles. Just picked it up Wednesday and it now has a check engine light. I am currently waiting for my OBD EX to be delivered otherwise I would check myself for what the code is. Ran it over to AutoZone and the only code it is showing is a...
