Lund Tune was shipped and I should have it by next week. I have a 2018 GT PP1 with Magneride & Active Exhaust. The car has the following mods on it:...Anyone have experience with a 2018 10R80 with CAI and Lund Tune? I would love to hear your thoughts

JLT CAI + V3.0 Oil Separator
Ford Performance X-Pipe & GT350 Springs
Roush 3-Piece Front Splitter + High Flow Lower Grill
SVE Wheels
Cervinis Upper Grill

The CAI on a 2018+ doesn't do anything but that's ok. :) Perhaps if you have forced induction it may help.

Do you have Flex/E85R or 91/93? I'm happy with my Flex. When I get a tank that has 85ish% ethanol and I load the E85R file I almost feel like it's too much, the 1080R/coyote 3 will take off like a spooked race horse.

The flex file is a very nice daily on the road. From what I gather the flex file on 91 should be similar to a 91 tune, which is what they seem to be pushing on this platform.

Lund also has great support.

I'm about to get my nGauge tomorrow according to USPS. I have the tune files already which they sent the day after I bought it. I did 93 tune to start and have Roush CAI and FRP Sport cat back. Will let you know how it does. I may wait to load it for a little while, my engine has the 2k rattle and I'm going to take it in next week to have it looked at before I potentially kiss my warranty bye bye.

Show me the dyno results that prove your statement otherwise I'm going to believe all the dyno charts that show it does add power. A tune on a stock car will produce increases, YES, but a tune on a car with a JLT or Roush will produce higher results. Obviously not as much as forced induction. Again show me your results proving otherwise and then I'll listen

Hope it all works out, sounds like a nice ride. I am at 23,000KM with no tick (knock on wood). I took mine in for its first oil change at 1,800km though so not sure if that helped me or not. I track my car as well so it gets used.

Dyno numbers from Lund w/JLT on 93 tune in the vid below. Scroll to 4:31 and watch...clearly picks up ~20-25 whp and ~14-15 lb ft of torque over stock.

You can find lots of 3rd party customer dyno runs that show the same. That video was put out by Lund so obviously it is set up to be informative and focused on their product

Yea, listen a little longer and you'll see that was dynoed with open hood on a non enclosed intake. Tell me where you're going to be driving around open hood lmao. Pull out the stock filter and it'll go up a measly few HP also. You're also still referencing the tune+CAI vs stock tune... which the tune accounts for the majority of the HP and almost all of the torque.

Dude, do you work for another tuner? Why do you care?

No, I just don’t like misinformation being spread that causes people to waste hundreds of hard earned dollars on CAI’s they don’t need. I mean, it’s up to them to make that decision, but I’d rather it not be because someone told them they’d gain 20+ hp when they won’t.

That ugly box is reason enough to get a CAI. When you’re driving air is entering engine bay similar to air blowing on it with a fan. Also the CAI seals to the underside of the hood so never understood the argument of sucking in hot engine air. Not much more so than the stock box. The intake a much larger in diameter on the tune required CAI models. No brainer to me. Well worth the extra money for a tune CAI combo

Dude if you can't afford a CAI that's cool. Maybe we can pool together for you so you'll stop being so butt hurt about other people improving their cars. On another note go for a run a breath through a straw and then go for one normally and tell me which is easier lol
