I have posted in the Flex Fuel thread that when I submitted my request to Lund for the flex fuel tune I also asked about what they could do about the cold start to tame down the exhaust noise. The cold start is pretty loud with the off road headers and corsa sport cat back.

After a couple of revisions he sent me my flex fuel tune with a custom cold start to help eliminate some of the exhaust noise on cold starts.

I may need to re-take the video of the second revision. This was the first startup after flashing the new flex fuel tune and startup was a little rough. I will drive the car tomorrow to work and see if the cold starts get better after some run time.

I hope you guys enjoy. I told Jon this will probably become a very popular request and really should be done on all of the tunes. I know some people didn't want headers because of this.

Here are the before and after videos.

Can you tell a big difference in person? It's kinda hard to tell in the video. I just installed my stainless power lt's with offroad x and borla mufflers and it's absolutely ridiculous until it warms up a little. I was actually thinking about putting the borla resonator back on in place of the x-pipe but I don't know how much that will change the sound all together.

Oh yeah much quieter. I asked him for this a few days ago and he said he would but it may be a few days since they are swamped with the Lethal sale and Flex fuel request.

That's great, I need a revision done so I may ask about that also. I'm sure they're swamped, that flex fuel tune does sound pretty awesome but unfortunately I don't have any e85 pumps anywhere near me in swva or northeast Tennessee that I know of. The extra power would be awesome though! Anything to get a little closer to the 500rwhp mark that id love to get one of these days and stay naturally aspirated.

I think I need to re take the video. It also is not supposed to be cold around here for the next week or so. It definitely is quieter inside the car during startup. Before it was really loud for 10-15 seconds after start up now it is about 1-2 seconds of being loud before it tames down. Jon said that is about the best he can do. He said the 1-2 seconds is the variable cam timing adjusting during initial fire up. Spark timing also is about -10 degrees and quickly goes back positive.

I also don't have any E85 pumps close by but went ahead and asked for the tune in case I run across any.

You can tell right away. It's still loud at for, car needs time to adjust. Awesome

That's a pretty big difference, it was loud for maybe 6-8 seconds and then mellowed out.
