Lund or Livernois

Is the Thermostat change really necessary? Not being a mechanic, I'm worried about getting air bubble in my cooling system or not getting heat in the cold Chicago winter because of lower engine temp. Are these viable concerns? Also do these aggressive tunes effect your engine life?

I'm not sure if this is normal but I just got a 93 tune from Lund and my gas mileage went from 18-20 mpg tank average to 15-17. I don't really care too much about gas mileage but I didn't expect this much of a change. My range will only be ~230 now between fill ups. Guess I'll be using the Honda a bit more :headbonk:

Maybe your putting your foot into it more? My stang isn't my DD so I never pay attention to my MPG lol

Yeah that is possible. I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. If not, maybe I should send Lund a datalog. I do love the way the car drives now though.
