I'm not sure if it's a Ford thing or a dealer thing but the locking lugs I had when the car was new, looked stupid. They stuck out well past the regular lugs. Bought Gorilla ones to replace them and couldn't be happier.

I am trying to decide on what to get for my GT350R Carbon wheels. I know the studs are longer in the front VS. the rear and would like to go with a black set, I do like the Ti set that 50 deep is offering. They are just not available in black, not that I couldn't have them anodized myself. I used the Gorilla lugs on my GT350, does anybody have anyone have pics of the of the Gorilla lugs on the Carbon GT350R wheels that they could post a pic of?
Thanks

T's lugnuts won't work on the stock R wheel. They're made for wheels with the recessed lug nut area. Well, technically that's not completely accurate. They'll work; they fit the stud and will seat on the wheel, but the are looooonnnng. The fronts would stick waaay out. Maybe he'll come along and post the pics he took of the application.

The stock R rims on a GT350R take the same lug nut as the stock non-R rims take on a non-R GT350. So, any nut that works with stock 350 rims will work on an R with stock R rims.

The only time you need a special lug nut on a GT350R is when you're running a non-R rim that leaves a lot of the lug sticking out past the wheel.

Ok this makes sense now, thanks for the information. I was curious If I needed to get special lugs For the R due to the longer studs up front. I bought the the car with a set of Forgestar's and the carbons and 50 deep's lugs (carbon steel) on those. Thanks for the information Galaxy and JAJ

EDIT
I spoke to T tonight and he is going to order me a set of the Rears all around, that way they will fit right up to the end of the stud of the carbon wheels and not be so long. Great Product and he is a super nice guy! I am looking into getting the anodized locally in a flat black.
