Has anyone had their lower control arms changed under warranty? Just had this warranty work done at 31,000 miles. Anyone else have this issue?

No - not on my prior 2016 (which had over 36k on it) and definitely not on my 2018 (that only has 13k).

Why were they changed?

Do you have a PP equipped S550?

Lower Control Arm. per Google. A control arm set (lower and upper) connects the front suspension of the car to the frame of the car. It is connected to the wheels through ball joints, and to the frame of the car through bushings. It is usually found on the front side of the car. (Few cars have control arms in the back.)

The S550 has two front control arms - a lateral link and a tension link they are called. Steeda makes upgraded versions of both. The S550 also has a rear lower control arm.

What @Bluemustang said. I ask because my car makes a noise when I turn the steering wheel and I'm fairly certain it's the LCA. Seems like it might be a common issue.

My car was both LCA's. When I turned sharp it would make a loud creaking sound. Your response was the reason I made this post. To see how common it is. Thank you for the response.
