Also, only god (and maybe Norm) knows what the car is going to drive like if you only install extended ball join control arm on one side of the car and leave the other side stock.
I have a suspicion the car would feel like it never quite wants to go exactly where you're trying to make it go. Not even straight ahead.

OP would be trading instability due to worn parts for some net amount of steering caused by steering that's perfectly good mechanically but asymmetric geometrically. Not much of a 'win', overall.

Yeah I can't figure out why Steeda would ship that part to somebody who isn't lowered at all. Its just baffling. Maybe its not a noticeable problem to run tthem, but a stock OEM part would just drop in with barely an alignment required.
Yeah i searched more on their site and found these https://www.steeda.com/steeda-555-4914-control-arms
These are PP style lower control arms for stock ride height that I am just trying to replace at the moment. I didnt want to go with ford's parts because i didnt want to take the chance of the joint getting eaten up again. I am going to contact Steeda to see about getting the ones i ordered returned because I am honestly still on the fence about lowering it. I would be replaceing both sides.

Also thank you all for the help. I've never really had to do any suspension work and wanted some input before i get anything installed. This is the first vehicle i've ever even done mods to beside a CAI.

I got the parts in and was wondering how hard it is to change these out on a drive way. i know ford says you have to have a ball joint seperator but the one they show is like $220. I found one from Harbor Freights for $20. Anyone have any issues changing this out? Or should i take it to a shop? have some decent mechanical experience i just have never touched anything on suspension before.

Yea lol. Should have used ear plugs though
Ha, I feel you. After a few whacks I stuffed bits of shop towel in my ears. Not sure how anyone could do this on jack stands...I wound up with the sledge like Darryl Strawberry in ‘86 to get the force needed.
