I'm sorry. I will ask the moderator to delete the thread. Apologies.
I'm sorry I realize I've been a little too harsh in my comment. Somebody pissed in my cheerios this morning and this led me to bee overly critical, for that I offer my apology.

The forum is a place of learning for everybody, and I did learn a lot from reading the pages of this forum, I think every thread it's of some value and everybody can learn from it.

But what I really wanted to say is: your posts transmitted the feeling that you are unsatisfied with the car, that you changed it because of that. I also got the impression that you mix up a couple of concepts (torque and power and the finality of mods).

Both you past and current cars are really good ones, personally I would have loved to have an automatic Mach 1, but I came too late to the party so I bought my GT.

The suggestion I gave (too harshly) to take a driving course still stands: most of the times instructors are awesome and there is also a theoretical part where they teach you the bases of mechanics, physics and driving. You'll probably end up much more happy and capable of enjoying your current car.

You have a Stage 2 Whipple and you cannot tell much difference from a standard engine? Do you have a manual or an auto? Do you mean just at low RPM?
A10,. No difference. Either the tune from whipple is bad or the shop did something wrong. It won't even break traction

Bud, I am not an expert and I defer to some of the other guys on the forum, but that just doesn't seem right. I would think the installation of a Stage 2 Whipple should make a dramatic difference.

Something is definitely not right. Going to stop by the shop.

Yes the gear ratios in manual transmission 2018 plus Mustangs aren't that good for street driving. That's one of the reasons why my last Mustang GT purchase was a 2017 rather than something newer.

You are posting about MT-82D4 (the infamous Getrag with very long gears, note D4 at the end), in the subforum which runs Tremec with quite different gearing ratios (more close to the original MT-82, or GT350 if you want).

Yes true that vid is about MT-82, but the Tremec in the GT350 and Mach 1 also has too high of gear ratios for really enjoyable street driving.

That was the one thing I didn't like about my GT350 when I owned it. First gear is waaaaay too tall. I think it tops out at 52 mph or something obscene like that. Basically you shift out of first and you can barely touch the throttle in second gear and you are speeding. Fun time over.

The prior MT-82 has much better ratios. With a 3.73 rear gear the car is a lot more fun to drive in first and second gears (majority of street acceleration unless you flaunt the law).

You should be lighting up your tires with that Whipple. Something is definitely not right.

Its not making any boost . You can barely hear a little whine, but sounds more like a vacuum hose. Taking it to the shop on Monday to get all paperwork then to Ford .

Mustang GT Manual 2017 - now sold ☹
so i was driving home last night in my GT, 6speed 17MY and i was using 5th gear from just under 40mph to pull the car out of corners. It was dark, raining and I didn't really know the road and just used the torque to haul me from corner to corner, maybe doing 60mph tops as it was quite a twisty road. Car felt fine doing it and while it wasn't exactly rapid acceleration nor was I using throttle application, it certainly didn't feel low powered or lacking. So, how does the MACH 1 suffer so badly from low down torque or is it just smooth and thus doesn't feel like it is pulling?

I should remove this post as discussed above, so apologies. The M1 is fine. I'm getting used to the A10 in the new M1. It's all good.
