OK, you all know what a pain the OEM pads are for dust. After 3 years I've had enough.

Next Oil Change I need to swap my pads. What are you guys using? No track days, so looking for recommendations on good, quiet, durable pads.

I have a few ideas, but figured I'd ask the brain trust...... And of course, feel free to add your OIl Go to :sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses:

I have. 3 years now.... TIred of it, and being that I am going to change brake fluid at next oil change, I am changing the pads. Z26 is in the lead so far.

I went through that thread and sounds like Z26 are the best, but that is mostly from one person’s positive comments.
there are other posts of other members that complain about the initial bite (no where near OEM) and that the pads are rotor eaters. Similarly, I have a guy who's Z26s literally cracked after 1 track day. YMMV but personally I'm staying away from them.

Thanks, that context is helpful. I’m keeping OEM until I hear more context from folks that use them on a DD.

I had them on my C7 Z51 and they stop really well and are pretty low dust.

G-LOC GS-1 made in NC, a true performance street pad that is rotor friendly while still having a temperature range up to 800F. Although not recommended we have had Customers use them during an Auto-X. All pads dust, if they did not they would not stop your vehicle. G-LOC dust wipes off unlike the OEM Dust that cakes on the wheels.

I have 18,875 miles on my 19 and religiously swap out the OEM pads for the Z26 pads for non track driving. I have no indication of any excessive rotor ware whatsoever from using the Z26 pads for street use. And I still attack the roundabouts…
