Is it me or are the center armrests VERY low? This is the first car I've that that I actually have to gansta lean to be able to use the arm wrest. It feels odd.

Never noticed or felt the arm rest is too low. Is your seat height raised too high?

Mine seem ok tbh. More comfortable than what I have in my pickup, so maybe my point of reference is bad to begin with. Thinking about it some more, it does feel lower than my old 3-series. Those were at a perfect height from what I remembered, but it's been a few years since I've had that car.

I remember comfortably resting my elbow in my Escort, Mach1, Q50, Altima, Taurus, this is the first car I've driven that my elbow won't reach unless I lean. It's about a solid inch or more to low for me.

Yes. It's too low. Ford could fix a lot of problems with the ergonomics(?) if they'd make the seat go lower.

It's you. :giggle:

Try lowering the seat. If at that point you can't see over the dash, then it's definitely you.

Never noticed, but at 5' 9" that might be why.

I just wish the seat back had power adjustments. This really boggles the mind.

Mine feels too low also. Looking for a strap-on covered pad to put on the top of it. I need for it to be a couple of inches higher.

I kinda like that the center armrest is low. It doesn't interfere with shifting with a manual trans. I had an 89 fox body years ago and broke off the console lid by hitting it with my elbow during shifting.

I agree. Being 6"0 my elbow never quite reaches no matter the seat height.

I'm 6'0 as well and it's too low, plus the shifter is about an inch too far forward to be comfortable.
