I am a member of the FB page and it's very good input and feedback, but I do like the forum concept also as I have been members of forums for years that have helped me pick the best upgrades for many cars, trucks and motorcycles I have owned over the years. Also that I can look back for older info and search for specific posts, info, and that's hard to do on the FB page.

thanks for the input.
Someone showed me how, but I thought the same thing and it's not true. You can search every single post ever made just like on here :). I feel the info and people are more supportive, I use this to sell stuff...., when the vendors mock you for asking questions, or answer your question with a sales pitch and not help, that's where I lose my shit

I hope you did not take my thread as being a troll or will my engine blow up. It got real crazy real fast on this forum and there was soooo much contradiction and one liner comments about what was going on that I could not make sense of it all (Clear as Mud). It almost seemed to split the ecoboost community. The group that "knew" what the problem was and were already doing the right thing, and those not understanding what was going on and no one giving clear answers.

And then there where the random posts by people that seemed to join the forum to simply spout negativity. Truly dark times...

I am happy to say I survived the EcoBoom of 2016 and am currently on Cobb Stage 1. Will be jumping on board with Adam very, very soon.

OP - Love my mustang!

Adam - can you add that phrase to your T-shirt "I survived the Ecoboom of 2016"? Would look real nice on the back!

My post was not aimed at u at all, I was talking about in general. Your post is perfectly fine and what the forum should be used for

I think people forget this car is only 2 years old... Give it time trust me. A RWD, Auto, Turbo car is a scary platform. Once a good stand alone comes out this car will running 8s like its no ones business.

Sucks they won't put the twin turbo in one of these things, then it would eat up the GT

I wouldn't be surprised if Ford dropped a twin turbo engine in this car down the line.

I didn't buy this car because it was a mustang, I got it because of the turbo-4 / RWD setup, for a great price. It's annoying how I have to explain about the engine all the time thou.
You speak what I think

Fixed that for you bud. Yea the auto is a pubic hair faster in the 1/4 mile, but for the 99.999% of the time when you are not at the drag strip the auto transmission is about as inspiring as a...well, as a automatic transmission.

Bone stock 50 year ecoboost manual with 13.5k miles now. It's gonna stay stock. I have had 3 other Mustangs including 2 GT's. The GT is faster... who cares. This thing pulls off idle like a tractor. I commute through rush hour daily and it is a great car to daily drive. Snow mode last winter was great as well. Best Mustang I have ever owned.

This is my first Mustang. The only 2 cars I though about buying were the EB and 370Z. A comparably equipped Z was not worth it, especially with the outdated interior. I don't track the car, and am not out doing donuts. I'm more into the cosmetic aspect of a car. Don't get me wrong I enjoy a car with power, I just feel there is enough in the EB to make me happy. Once this car is paid off, I'll turn my interest towards used sports cars and sedans that can be modded to my taste. But my EB will stay in my garage, because it is simply awesome! Next time, do some homework on the 2nd biggest purchase most humans make.

By the way, the S550 has one of the best silhouettes on the market right now, straight classic!

I'm talking high powered cars at the strip.

I have arrived to end the circle jerk!

I have always admitted it.. I shouldn't have bought this car, definitely not in this config, my fault entirely. Overall.. not a bad car although at best I can muster 18mpg's in the city no where near 23 like some of you and my 0-60 is still 6.1 on 93 to this day.. Lol.

I was happy with the car at first.. I then got used to the power and acceleration and doesn't really feel that fast anymore unless I drive something really slow and crappy (like my corolla) to sort of cleanse the palate and remind myself how good this car is and it does work. But still, I quickly become used to it again, gets a bit boring especially with that auto and 3.15's.. and the poor engine note although the MMR CAI is fun.

So yeah, I bought this thing because it was a Mustang.. Not because I wanted a turbo 4 cyl.. if I could have my way I would of gotten a GT.. and I still plan to do so in another year or so.. definitely Manual tho.. no more auto unless it's as good as the ZF 8 Speed, then I may be tempted to go auto again.

What engine note? I'm thankful that this car is so quiet. Makes for a funny situation when I smoke other cars.
