I'm debating on adding a rear and side window louvers to my Saleen. I love the look but undecided on the two. What's your pick? The 1st or 2nd?

Definitely the first one. The second one looks like the first one that melted in the sun IMHO.

Haven't seen cars with louvers for a while, but those look nice. I like the sporty look it has.

Are those two different cars? I thought louvers looked different in the light.

You only qualify for louvers if you are also sporting a 70's Porn 'Stache.

My 2 cents - not fan of rear window louvers, but the aluminum ones look great, especially on the green Mach posted earlier.
For my Mach 1 I wanted something closer to the 60's fastback reminiscence, but I couldn't find the side louvers I liked... so I went with whatever I managed to get...
Here's a comparison how does it look WITH and WITHOUT (lol). The car with louvers is mine, the other is of a friend of mine, lol.

The one was the side louvers look good! I still haven't pulled the trigger yet because I want to be sure. I love the color of them!!!

Th Aluminum version on top is what I picked, as it looks like the original Mach1/Boss 302 louvers. Not a fan of any of the plastic versions.
Things I like about my louvers: They look great, they keep the car MUCH cooler in summer.
Things I don't like: Takes about 5 min. and a couple of soft towels to remove and install for cleaning. Then you have to find a place to put it while it's off the car, and make sure you don't loose the plastic nuts.
Note: If you get the Aluminum one, don't use the metal washers, they will scratch the paint on the louvers.

man this green is ridiculous man. Perhaps the best color I've ever seen on a 'stang. Well done, care looks great!

So cringe. Trying too hard to be cool.

Same goes for fake side scoops and large rear diffusers on a street car

I installed the Willpak Industries aluminum louvers on my 2021 Mustang, CJ Pony sells this brand but I bet they come from the same vendor/manufacture in Canada as the Speedform sold by American Muscle.

The black aluminum rear window louvers in this thread IMO look the best as far as nostalgic and going back to the Classic 69-70 Mustang roots.

As much as I like them and the styling, I can’t ever put a set on any Mustang that I own because it would just drive me absolutely nuts trying to look out a dirty rear window - or having to deal with the on/off for washing/detailing the car.

Short video excuse the audio due to wind noise.

Willpak rear window louvers sold by CJ Pony Parts, I think these are the same as the SpeedForm sold by American Muscle.

For me, it's tough because part of me understands that they look like someone trying to be cool, but the other part of me likes the way they look. Makes the car look meaner IMHO. I don't have them on mine, but am considering.
